It is with the deepest sense of loss that Landen left this world surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday August 28th, 2022 at the age of 16. Cherished son of Betty and J.R. Guy. Dear brother of Zachary Guy (JoJo) and Logan Keuhni. Cherished grandson of Andy Barber and Murvin McCormack. Landen will be fondly remembered by his aunt and uncle Natasha and Darryl Dyck, his nephew Austin, niece Nova and his cousin Brent. Predeceased by his grandma Brenda McCormack. Landen will be fondly remembered by his great circle of friends for his infectious laugh, being the class clown, and for just being fun to be around and not taking things too seriously.
Landen was wise beyond his years. He had a really strong personality and was extremely determined. If he was told that something couldn’t be done he would still try to do it to prove that you were wrong. Landen loved his life, his family, and lived his life out loud. He had a good heart and loved to help others without ever having his hand out. He couldn’t wait to graduate high school and start his life either enrolling in the military or becoming a mechanic; he had big dreams and goals in life. Landen enjoyed more than anything being on his quad, he literally lived and breathed to ride that bike everyday all day if we’d let him.
Celebration of Landen’s life will be held at the Douglas United Church Hall on Saturday September 17th from 12noon to 2pm. The family would appreciate donations in Landen’s memory to be made to CHEO.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Landen
