It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Lana Eve Nahanni on June 25, 2022, at the age of 40 years. Lana was born to Cathy Nahanni and David Gon in Fort Simpson, Northwest Territories May 9, 1982.
Lana leaves behind her husband, Anthony Lynch; mother, Cathy Nahanni (Carl Lafferty); father, David Gon (Nora Gon); daughters, Namira Nahanni-Lynch (Anthony Avelar), Ionessa Nahanni-Lynch and Malaya Nahanni-Lynch; son-in-law, Tre Jackson (Eve Moosewah); brothers, Terrance Nahanni, Evan Nahanni and Marlon Nahanni-Lafferty; and sisters, Page Nahanni (Taylor Blackface) and Shanae Gon.
Lana is predeceased by her grandmothers, Theresa Nahanni and Marie Adele Gon; grandfather, Joseph Gon; mother-in-law, Yvette Seyoum; uncle, Clayton Nahanni; cousin, David Austin; brother-in-law, London Williams, and many other family members.
Funeral Service Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
