Obituary
Ken, 82 years of age passed away on December 3, 2022. Ken is survived by his children Ken Jr (Belinda), Heather ( Dave) Holz, Bonnie Lord and Greg Baker. Six grandchildren, Kenny Baker, Danielle Baker, Lyndsay Snider, Analori (Mark) Raymond, Zach Lord, Ryan (Courtney) Lord, great-granddaughter Makayla and loyal companion, his pup ‘Lucy’.
Ken was predeceased by his wife of 59 years Cecile in 2017 and his daughter in law Mary (Greg) earlier this year.
Dad was very active right up until his illness took him from us and for this, we are forever grateful.
One of his biggest joys was his gardening and looked forward to it every year. He loved a good Flames game, watching British comedies, baking, and was always down for a game of crib.
Dad had a very hard time after mum passed away and to this day never got over her passing. He had a lot of support from family and friends, yet we all knew he wouldn’t be truly happy until he was with her again.
It gives us great comfort as a family to know he is free of pain and with our mother.
If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Salvation Army.
Funeral Service will be held at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church (10827 – 24 St. SW) on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at 1:00 pm.
