It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Katherine Monita at the age of 99 years, unexpectedly, but peacefully on Friday April 29, 2022 at her residence in Richmond Hill.
She was born and raised in Kamsack Saskatchewan, the daughter of Jacob and Anna (nee Hrenyk) Koroluk in 1922. Katherine “Kitza” is predeceased by her husband Nick, her son George, daughter Jean, her parents Jacob and Anna, sisters; Pearl, Thea, Peggy, Mary, Carol, brothers; Alex, Metro, Nick, John, Peter, and George.
Katherine leaves to mourn/miss her- her devoted daughter Deborah, son John; granddaughter Nicci, grandsons Remy, and Jake.
Kathrine began her life in Kamsack Saskatchewan, lived for a time in British Columbia, and then settled in Toronto to marry and raise her family.
Although Katherine had may hardships during her life, she remained strong, kind, supportive, and dedicated to her family. She loved to enjoy family dinners, and spend time with family and friends, and would always reach out with a helping hand to anyone in need. We will miss her dearly.
