It is with great sadness that the family of Katherine “Katie” Goruk of Dickie Bush (Bellis) announce her sudden passing on August 4, 2022 at the age of 93 years. She is survived by 4 sisters, Lena Radomsky, Alice Werenka, Jane Purych & Teresa (Jeff) McEachern; brother, Nick (Marge) Repka; special niece & nephew, Jerry & Nicole Repka, and children, Regan & Rayanna Repka; numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews. Mrs. Goruk was predeceased by her loving husband, George; daughter, Georgette; sister, Rose Andruik; parents, Mary & Metro Repka. A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, August 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Russo-Orthodox Church, Dickie Bush, AB. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Russo-Orthodox Church, Dickie Bush, AB. Reverend Father Kolin Berglund will be officiating, with interment in the church cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Dickie Bush Church, Cross Cancer Institute or a charity of one’s choice c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul AB T0A 3A1.
