It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Katherine Jean Felix, late of Sturgeon Lake, SK on July 29th, 2022, at the age of 69 years. Katherine was born on December 17th, 1952, in Prince Albert, SK to Leo and Rev. Emily Felix. Katherine will be lovingly remembered by her son Angus; her daughters Emily (Allan) Longjohn, Vivian, Roxanne, Suzanne, & Coteanne; her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, & great-great grandchildren; her special friend Alex Badger; her favorite niece Mary Mirasty, & nephew Angus Mirasty; her sisters Priscilla Felix & Penny Bird; her brothers Thompson (Sharon), Alex (Gertrude) Felix, Floyd Felix, Dale (Pamela) Felix, John Felix, and Gordon Felix; her aunties Heather Felix, & Wilma Schreder; & her uncles Henry (Sandra) Felix, Allen Joe (Patsy) Felix, Jacob Felix, Carol Felix and Jim (Jeanette) Felix. Katherine was predeceased by her parents Leo & Rev. Emily Felix; her grandparents Alex (Suzanne) Felix & Catherine (Adam) Mirasty; her brothers Ernest (Harriet) Felix, Mekisew Felix, and infant brother; her aunties Rose Marie (Stanley) Eyahpaise, Elaine (Howard) Walker, Harriet (Joseph) Whitefish, Catherine (Josie) Gamble, Katie (Joe) Hunt, and Nancy (Albert) Hunt; & her uncles Harry Felix, Angus, Josiah “Joe”, and Absolom. The Wake Service will be commencing July 30th, 2022, at the Sturgeon Lake Community Center in Sturgeon Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 1st, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Sturgeon Lake Community Center in Sturgeon Lake, SK. The Officiants will be Uncle Henry Felix, Leonard Ermine, & Elders. The Eulogy will be read by Katherine Mirasty. The Honourary Pallbearers are all those who knew and loved Katherine. The Pallbearers are all of Katherine’s grandsons & nephew.
