Obituary of Katharina Wellman
Wellman, Katharina of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, June 17, 2022 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Michael Wellman(2008). Dear mother of Gary Wellman and other-in-law of his wife Mandy Irvine of Cheltenham. Dear mother of the late Edmund Wellman (1988). Loving grandmother of Kady Lee and Amy Rose. She will be greatly missed by her sisters Mary Prizevski, Rose Fick(Don) and a number of nieces and nephews. With her husband Mike, Katie grew tobacco for years. She was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church and the German Canadian Club. Born in Kallesdorf, Romania on October 29, 1931, daughter of the late John and Maria (Bertlef) Schuster. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
