It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diana Elaine Kachkowski on Saturday August 6th, 2022 at the age of 74.
Diana is lovingly remembered by her daughters Nicole Bruno (Dave), Cindy Pierson (Chris) and granddaughters Sophia Bruno and Isabella Bruno and her dear friends Ron and Lydia Cherniwchan.
She was predeceased by her parents Harry and Ailie Olson , sibling Dennis Olson, nephew Todd Olson, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and several other nephews and nieces.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 7-9 pm at Serenity Funeral Service, with cremation to follow. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 2:00 pm, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 298 Bethel Drive, Sherwood Park, Alberta, T8H 2C5. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff on unit 42 at the Grey Nuns Hospital for their exceptional kindness, support, and care shown to Diana and her family during her final days there. We would also like to thank all the wonderful staff at Shepherd’s Gardens Supportive Living where Diana lived for the last few years of her life.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made in Diana Kachkowski’s name to the Alzheimer Society.
