It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of
Judith “Judy” Lynn Stone, age
59, of Rockport.
Judy passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Wednesday,
November 16, 2022.
Born in Sackville, NB she was a daughter of Helen
(Laing) Hicks of Glassville, NB and the late Robert “Bob”
Hicks.
Judy owned and operated All of You in Sackville, NB
from 2004 until 2018. Judy
loved her hobby farm, with a wide variety of animals to keep her
busy. She
especially loved her horses and her dogs. Judy loved family, her husband
and kids, and always watched out for the underdog, helping anyone who
needed it.
In addition to her mother Helen, she will be dearly
missed by her husband Bruce; children Aaron MacKinnon, Miramichi, Evan
MacKinnon, Moncton, Morgan Stone, Rockport; 2 step-children Cara
(Tanner) Stangby, Winnipeg, MB and Samantha (Stevy) Fillmore, Frosty
Hollow, NB; step-grandchildren, Landen, Hunter, Ava, Brice, Ashlyn,
Finley and Olivia; siblings Randy (Diana), Sackville, NB Gayle
(Norman) Wry, Cape Spear, NB; mother in law Pearl Stone, Frosty
Hollow; sister in law Vicki (Peter) Estabrooks, Sackville and brother
in law Donald (Chandran) Stone, Mexico; as well several nieces and
nephews.
She was predeceased by her father Bob, father in law
Ronald Stone, and niece Lindsay Wry Rosario.
Judy’s family would like to express heartfelt thanks
to ICU nurses Beth and Brynne who made her and her family comfortable
during such a difficult time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the
Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St.,
Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). In keeping with Judy’s wishes,
there will be no service at this time.
Those wishing to make a donation in Judy’s memory
may do so to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, St. Ann’s Anglican
Church, or the charity of your choice.
