Born June 2, 1936 in Northholt, England, and died October 1, 2022 peacefully in her sleep at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia following a brief hospital stay. Survived by her husband William (Chip) Wiest of 57 years, son David and wife Linda, daughter Carol and grandson Jason and wife Melissa and their children Jaxon, Lila and Landon. Loved by her extended family in the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. The family will receive relatives and friends at Carson Funeral Homes – L. Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Wednesday October 5, 2022 from 7-9 P.M. The funeral service will be held at St. James’ Anglican Church, 58 Peter St. N., Orillia on Thursday October 6, 2022 at 11 o’clock. Cremation to follow. If desired memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe-Muskoka or to St. James’ Anglican Church, Orillia would be appreciated by the family.
