Joyce Maxine Keeler- August 3,1931 – June 6,2022
Joyce passed away at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon at the age of 90. Joyce was predeceased by her parents Emil and Helen Keeler, siblings William, Adeline, Melvaryne, Maureen and Helen. She is survived by sisters Isabella and Ann, brothers Blain and Farnon and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Joyce was a proud Certified Nurses Assistant. She worked in hospitals in Nokomis, Elrose and Rosetown. She was a respected staff member of the Rosetown Hospital for much of her career. She enjoyed telling stories about her days and was able to do so until very recently.
She retired from the hospital in 1992 and lived in Rosetown until 2012 when she moved to Saskatoon to live closer to her niece Stephenie and her family. Her last move was to Warman to Diamond House where she enjoyed wonderful care.
Joyce was a strong independent woman who loved her job, travelling the world and her family. You could always find her reading her romance novels, watching curling and cheering the Blue Jays on.
At Joyce’s request, there will be no funeral.
