Joyal, Thérèse Yvonne (née Lantaigne). Le mercredi, 30 mars 2022, à l’hôpital Temiskaming de New Liskeard, âgée de 94 ans, Thérèse a retrouvé l’amour de sa vie Omer prédécédé en 1982. Elle était la mère bien-aimée d’Existe (Rose), Gabriel (feue Lise), Fernand (Elizabeth “Betty”), Claude (Réjeanne), Diane, Robert (Denise), Jean-Luc (France) et Lise (Marc Baril). Elle sera toujours la mémère, french grandma ou grand-mère chérie de Nicole, René, Yvon, Annie, Line, Dina, Luc, Mélissa, Dany, Fernand Jr., Lise, Shane, Suzanne, Joël, Martin, Alain, Anik, Guy, Isabelle, Gabrielle et Danielle; l’arrière-grand-mère de Richard, Jason, Tanisha, Kiersten, Riley, Roméo, Daphne, Ashley, Madeleine, Thomas, Noah, Leah, Félixia, Lucas, Lisanne, Marty, Kamden, Alicia, Fernand Robert, Matthew, Emily, Francis, Nicolas, Vincent , Mathieu et l’arrière-arrière-grand-mère de Yan.
Prédécédée par ses chers parents Antoinette (née Labonté) et Existe Lantaigne; par sa sœur Jeanne Labonté et par ses frères Philippe, bébé Alphonse, Jean, Paul et Hector, ainsi que ses beaux-frères Oscar Goudreault, Fernand Labonté, Claude Gosselin et ses belles-sœurs Rose-Aimé et Jeannine, Thérèse se fera une place près d’eux là-haut. Elle sera regrettée énormément par ses sœurs Cécile Goudreault, Marie Labonté (Grégoire), Rose Aylwin (Bruno), ses frères Alphonse (Laurence), Antoine (Yvette) et ses belles-sœurs Marguerite “Margo” (Fernand) et Estelle. Tante Thérèse restera dans la mémoire de nombreux neveux et nièces. Elle laisse également des amis d’enfance, des voisins, des connaissances qu’elle affectionnait beaucoup.
La famille recevra parents et amis lundi, le 4 avril 2022 de 14h à 16h & 19h – 21h. Les funérailles seront célébrées le mardi 5 avril 2022 à 11h00 en Paroisse Sacré Cœur avec le Père Ghislain Miji. L’enterrement aura lieu au cimetière Catholique de New Liskeard.
Le port du masque sera obligatoire durant les heures de visites au salon funéraire et à l’église.
Thérèse part l’âme en paix avec le sentiment d’une vie bien remplie et emportant tous ses tiroirs de mémoire. Où irons-nous pour des infos?

On Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at the Temiskaming Hospital, at the age of 94 years, Thérèse was reunited with the love of her life Omer who predeceased her in 1982. She was the loving mother of Existe (Rose), Gabriel (late Lise), Fernand (Elizabeth “Betty”), Claude (Réjeanne), Diane, Robert (Denise), Jean-Luc (France) and Lise (Marc Baril). She also was the cherished mémère, french grandma or grand-mère of Nicole, René, Yvon, Annie, Line, Dina, Luc, Mélissa, Dany, Fernand Jr., Lise, Shane, Suzanne, Joël, Martin, Alain, Anik, Guy, Isabelle, Gabrielle and Danielle; the great-grandmother of Richard, Jason, Tanisha, Kiersten, Riley, Roméo, Daphne, Ashley, Madeleine, Thomas, Noah, Leah, Félixia, Lucas, Lisanne, Marty, Kamden, Alicia, Fernand Robert, Matthew, Emily, Francis, Nicolas, Vincent, Mathieu, and the great-great-grandmother of Yan.
Predeceased by her dear parents Antoinette (née Labonté) and Existe Lantaigne, her sister Jeanne Labonté and brothers Philippe, baby Alphonse, Jean, Paul, Hector, her brothers-in law Oscar Goudreault, Fernand Labonté, Claude Gosselin and sisters-in-law Rose-Aimé and Jeannine; she now celebrates with them in heaven. Thérèse will be fondly missed by her siblings Cécile Goudreault, Marie Labonté (Grégoire), Alphonse (Laurence), Rose Aylwin (Bruno), Antoine (Yvette) and sisters-in-law Marguerite “Margo” (Fernand), and Estelle. Tante Thérèse will be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. She leaves behind childhood friends, neighbours, and acquaintances that she treasured.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 4th, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from Sacré Coeur Church with Father Ghislain Miji officiating. Burial will be held this summer at the New Liskeard Catholic Cemetery.
Wearing a mask will be mandatory during visiting hours at the funeral home and at church.
Thérèse leaves peacefully with feelings of a fulfilled life, and she brings with her all her treasured memories along with a lifetime of memoirs.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Blount and the staff, for their compassion and care shown towards our mother during her stay at the hospital. A heartfelt thank you.
