Obituary of Joseph Anthony Vergeer

The family of Joseph “Joe ” Vergeer are sad to announce his sudden passing on Friday, April 1, 2022. Coincidentally, his 63rd birthday. Joe was his very own person and had a unique and special character. He will be missed by many in the West Elgin community as well as the London district construction industry. Joe was born on April 1, 1959 to Hubert and Dina Vergeer (d). Brother and “favourite” Uncle Joe to; John (d), Joanne (Christopher, Michelle) Mary, Bob (d) Dawson (Julie, Lori, Greg) Henry (Michael, Paul, Liam and Mandee, Madison) Anna Marie, Curt McCallum (Luke, Calvin) Bert, Helen (Kendra, Kyle) Margie (d), Don Weed (Heather, Adam, Matt) Rose, Bill Graham (Kate, Alysha). Joe will be missed by Marianne Vergeer and his furry best friend “Owen “.
Donations to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters or a charity of your choice on behalf of Joe are welcome.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation in Joe’s honour on Saturday, April 16th, 2022 from 2-4 pm at Denning’s of Rodney, 212 Furnival Road.
A celebration of Joe’s life will take place in the near future. Thanks Joe for the many great memories. We will miss you.
