Obituary of Joseph Andrew Parsons
Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving son Doug at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, Joseph Andrew Parsons of Ochre Pit Cove, age 92 years.
Predeceased by wife: Mildred; daughter-in-law: Bridget; parents: Richard and Emma; sister: Evelyn (Norton) Gold; brother: Richard ‘Junior’.
Leaving to mourn, daughter: Marilyn (Terry) Lear, Alberta; sons: Gordon (Nora), Buchans, and Doug (Michelle), Ochre Pit Cove; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother: Ralph (Mary, deceased), Ochre Pit Cove; a large circle of friends in Buchans, as well as a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service to take place on Thursday, July 28 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay, followed by interment in the United Cemetery, Ochre Pit Cove.
