Joseph Teahan 1934 2022

Joseph Dolan Teahan, 88 of Riverview,
passed away peacefully on Thursday November 3, 2022 at The Moncton
Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late John and
Nellie (O’ Regan). Joe retired from the Canadian Military after 25
years service, for the following 20 years he owned and operated
Teahan’s Mobile Homes on the Miramichi. He obtained his
pilot’s license and loved to fly, played pool and was a member of
Legion Branch 6.
In his younger years he enjoyed
swimming and was involved with Search and Rescue scuba
diving.
Joe is survived by his wife of 69
years Iris (Swim) Teahan, daughters Valerie Teahan Tebby, Joanne
Woodford (Joe) and Sherrill Ghaicha (Lahouari); sons Rodney (Val)
Teahan and Jason Teahan; grandchildren Jessica, Madison, Riveria,
Kader, Jamila, Keelishay and Raiden; great grandchildren Avalon and
Levi, and many nieces and
nephews.
Aside from his parents, Joe was
predeceased by his grandson Shane and sisters Mary Teahan and Carmel
Berryman.
In honouring Joe’s wishes, there will
be no visiting hours or funeral service. Arrangements have been
entrusted to Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton
(858-1995).
