him dearly.
He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Frank Glaneuski; nephews Andy

George grew up in Brockton, Mass., but spent his summers in
Hainesville, NB where he loved the freedom of catching frogs, enjoying
hayrides, swimming at Greenhill Lake and chasing Uncle Albert’s
hens. After graduating from High School he went on to become a Red
Seal Chef. A high point of his career was his time spent at
Hugo’s Lighthouse in Cape Cod, Mass. He moved to NB in 1978 and
later settled in Riley Brook, NB with his parents when they retired
there. He became a Guide and regularly guided his brothers and their
friends who came to NB on hunting trips. He was their ‘chief
cook and bottle-washer’ as well. George also took amazing care
of his father until he passed away and amazing care of his mother for
20 plus more years until his Parkinson’s Disease took over and
they both had to leave their beloved Riley Brook. There never was a
kinder or more gentle man. We love you George.
There will be no service at this time but a graveside service will be
held at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery in Zealand, NB at a later
date.
For those who wish to make a donation in George’s memory,
Parkinson Canada or St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery (make cheques
payable to Anglican Parish of Bright) has been suggested.
