It is with great sadness and heartache that we announce the passing of Joe Doucet. After a short 53 years, he passed peacefully in the embrace of his family. A fighter to the very end, Joe never quit.
Joe was someone who lived his life how he saw fit, for better or worse. Joe endured the greatest pains and tests a human being can face, although they should never have to. Joe was a courageous, tough, smart, skilled, hardworking, funny, loving man who showed bravery in the face of life, death and everything in between. A very family oriented man who knew the value of what he had no matter how big or small. Joe conquered many things in his short life, many things most would never understand and he did it for those closest to him in his heart.
Joe is survived by his wife of 28 years Judi and leaves behind his legacy through his three children Nicole, Dylan (Rachel) and Jacob. He also passed on his life through his four favourite things in the universe, his grandchildren Peyton, Autumn, Savannah and Oakland.
A celebration of life will be held June 26th from 12 pm – 6 pm at the Chestnut Hills Recreation Center in Pickering, in the O’Brian rooms.
The family would also like to thank everybody for all of their love, support and condolences at this terribly trying time.
