Heaven needed a mechanic…so they called in one of their best. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jonathan (Jon) Martin, age 40, of Sudbury on December 31, 2021. Dearly missed by his mother Kerry (Ed) Martin, father Bob (Darlene) Martin, brother Alex (Sabrina) Martin, sister Amanda (Bryan) Martin, and nieces and nephews. Jon was a man of few words but had a big heart and was always there to lend a helping hand to those fortunate enough to know him. He enjoyed being outdoors and was happiest while camping and fishing with family and friends. He will be fondly remembered for his kind nature, attention to detail, and sweet tooth. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jonathan’s memory to mssociety.ca, an organization that provides research, education, and services for people with Multiple Sclerosis. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
