Obituary of John Whitelock

With heavy hearts, the family announces that John passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly at the Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew on Thursday, December 8, 2022; John Reginald Whitelock, a longtime resident of Arnprior recently celebrated his 88th birthday. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 70 years, Joyce (nee Ingram). Much loved Dad of Allan (Dorothy) of Perth; Jeff (Barbara) of Morgan Hill, California; Terry (Darlene Graham Amyotte) of White Lake; Brent (Nicole) of Stittsville; Jonathon (Tara) of Arnprior; Tracy Bandy (Terry) and Barbara Blimkie (Jason Vaughan) both of White Lake. Cherished and forever loved by his 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a grandson, Mitchell Blimkie. Dear brother of Doris Forget (late Jack) of Ottawa. Dear son of the late Reginald and Edith (nee Holloway) Whitelock. John was predeceased by siblings: Dorothy Raymond (late Marcel), Margaret Friend (late Bill), Florence Sinclair, Helen Bulmer (late Irving and Shirley Mallette (late Edmond). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
John’s final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. Details have yet to be finalized but will be posted here once confirmed.
