LaCount, John (Jay)
With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of John LaCount, passed away January 11, 2022. John was predeceased by his father, Mirle James LaCount (2001). He is survived by his mother Sharon Aitkenhead and step-father William. Sisters Sherri Levchuk (Dave) and Daphne LaCount (Scott). Proud Uncle to Joshua Tofflemire (Lizzy), Alex Levchuk, Amber Cunningham (Dave), Jessie Hooker, and Tianna Hooker (Shawn). Loving great uncle of Koby, Darrien, Emma and Liam. He will be greatly missed by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. John had many passions, just a few were, gaming, sci-fi, fantasy and cooking. As his one friend said “John was a gentle soul and had a great sense of humor”. He was one of the most thoughtful and kindest person anyone could have ever met. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Windsor Regional Hospital Oullette Campus for the care they gave John. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Friends and family may share memories and make donations at www.reidfuneralhome.ca.
