HIRTZ, John Thomas Jr. “Jack”
Suddenly entered into rest at his home on Saturday, December 24, 2022, Jack Hirtz of Milford died at the age of 91. He was the son of the late John Sr. & Helen Hirtz (nee Hamailainan) and he was the beloved husband of Verna (nee Williams). Jack was the loving father of Karen Hirtz (Gerald Maxwell) of Consecon, Cindy Green of Cherry Valley, late Douglas Hirtz (surviving Betty Buikema) of Consecon, and Dave Hirtz (Cathy Cole) of Milford. He was the dearest grandfather of Nicole (Pierre Pulice), Curtis, Chris, & Ashley and the great grandfather of Avianna, Mason, Austin, and Vivien Marie. Jack is survived by his sisters Lillian Tout of Scarborough, Carol Beaver of Cambridge, and Helen Tozer of Edmonton and predeceased by his brother Ken. Jack will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hirtz is resting at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 1 pm from South Bay United Church, 2029 County Road 13, Milford with visitation from 11 am until the time of the Funeral Service. Cremation with Inurnment at Cherry Valley Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward in Jack’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
