KRATZ, John Michael
On Monday, January 24th, 2022 John Kratz, loving husband to Pam and his step-children Melinda (John) and Thomas, beloved Son of Patricia Collins and Robert Kratz (predeceased), passed away at age 59.
John was a third generation butcher, taught by his grandfather and father in their family butcher shop. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt and trap and was devoted to his catholic faith.
John will be deeply missed by his sister Lynda (Jacque), many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, friends, his two grandchildren, as well as his fur baby, Angel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27th, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Miller Funeral Chapel, 28 Caithness St. E. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 28th at 11am at St. Stephan’s Catholic Church, 21 Ottawa St S., Cayuga followed by interment at York Cemetery, 3 Nelles Rd., Town of York.
Notice: Due to Covid-19 and provincial mandates, all guests will be required to bring and wear a mask, as well as maintain physical distancing at all times. Proof of vaccination is not required however contact tracing is mandatory and restrictions on capacity are in effect.
