Obituary
MacMillan, John (Jack) Cessford
November 26, 1940 – December 20, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather on December 20, 2022. Jack is survived by his wife Sandy, daughter Kelly (Steve) and son John, and his 2 grandchildren Michael and Mackenzie. He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ruth and Werner Matysek, his nephews Jeff (Amy) and Greg, and his great nephews Diaz and Dax. Jack was an employee of the Royal Bank of Canada for 35 years, beginning his career as a teller and later working in the roles of accountant, branch manager, and loans officer. Jack was an avid golfer, bowler and always enjoyed a good game of cards. As a younger man, he enjoyed playing hockey and basketball. He will be remembered as being kind-hearted and quick with a quip, joke or funny story. In accordance with Jack’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. To send expressions of sympathy, please visit www.lakelandfuneralcentre.com.
