John Jack Lambert 2022

John (Jack) Lambert
June 10, 1939 – September 15, 2022

It’s with heavy hearts we announce the passing of John (Jack) Joseph Lambert at the age of 83 after a brief battle with cancer on September 15, 2022. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Ellen (Nell), daughter Annette, and brother Edward (Ed). Leaving to mourn his wife of 56 years, June, son Lorne (Tracy), grandchildren Abigail, Rachel, Gracie and Faith, sister-in-law Francis (Fran) Pelletier as well as a large circle of family and friends.
A husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son and friend, dad’s career spanned 37 years first in the military and then as a federal public servant. Generally quiet and soft-spoken, he was quick witted and his often dry sense of humor could bring a grin to just about anyone’s face. Dad was always a very active man always puttering around his house, garden or cabin at some project or another non-stop.
Dad loved the outdoors especially when he had his fly fishing pole in his hands. He could spend hours casting his line and it never really mattered if he caught anything or not. He just enjoyed the peace and tranquility that it brought. Most of all, he was a family man who worked hard to provide a good life for his family and beamed with pride when he spoke of them, particularly his four grandkids.
Cremation has taken place. No Visitation. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022 at St. Teresa’s Church at 12 noon. Burial will take place at a later date.
He is loved and will be greatly missed.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of John Jack Lambert 2022..
