Obituary of John Frederick Collins
On the morning of November 6, 2022, John Collins passed away at home with his two girls fighting for him by his side. He was 57-years-young, but a man who lived every day of his life to the fullest. He packed more memories and love into his short life than many people have in a lifetime. John is survived by his wife, Diane, his daughter, Jhonna (Matthew), his two sons, Johnathan (Kristin) and Brandon (Kara, Maya), his brother, Steven, and many more special family and friends that he cherished wholly. He is preceded in death by his father, John (Marion), his mother, Carrol (Whitey), and his beloved grandparents Ada and George. He was the best salesman this world has ever seen, a jack of all trades, a fisherman, a golfer, an unwavering Toronto Maple Leaf fan, and the life of any party he walked into. His presence was palpable and everyone who has had the opportunity to experience his love and joy for life will miss him deeply. He was a strong man, husband, and father, and the family with whom he is survived by will continue to harness his strength in the years to come and he will forever remain alive in their hearts.
