Joedin Lloyd Leger
2003-2022
Joedin Lloyd Leger, 18, of Riverview
passed away unexpectedly on April 25th, 2022 at the Moncton
Hospital.
Joedin was born in Moncton on July
17,2003 the son of Rodney and Dawnita (Hanson) Leger.
Joedin attended the Edith Cavell
School with the TESS program. His Principal, Teachers and Guidance
Counsellors were always there for him whenever he needed them. He was
fortunate enough to attend the Tim Hortons Leadership Camp for a few
years and actually was awarded a scholarship for his work. During
those years at the camp he made many lifelong friendships. He was your
typical 18 year old, playing video games, listening to his music,
skateboarding and doing video chats on his phone. He also had a
passion for the Cobalt cars and enjoyed driving whenever he had the
chance. He had a special place in his heart for animals, especially
his little dog, Rocky and cats, Rowdy and Socks. Those who knew Joedin
all said he was an old soul who had a big heart, he was a big hug and
” Love Ya” kind of guy. His life was cut short but he has
left us with great memories and many laughs to share as we reminisce
about all the good times, which is what he would want. We miss you
buddy but we know you and Javin are together and having a great
reunion. Your sweet smile will live on in our hearts forever.
“LOVE YOU”
He will be deeply missed by his
parents, Rodney Leger and Dawnita Hanson of Riverview; brothers,
Darrick Hanson (Michelle) of Richibucto and Brandon Mazerolle of
Moncton; niece Kari Hanson and his special friend, Chantal Boudreau of
Moncton; paternal grandparents, Ozzie and Dalila Leger of Moncton;
maternal grandparents, Gary and Heather Hanson of Curryville; and
great grandmother, Muriel Hanson of Hillsborough. He will also be
missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins especially his cousin Riley
who he was very close bond with and by all his extended family, by
many good friends especially his good buddies, Josh, Chase and Zack
who were like family.
He was predeceased by his great
grandfather, Lloyd Hanson and great grandmother, Vera
Kelly.
A time and place of a visitation to
Celebrate Joedin’s life will be announced at a later
date.
The family would like to say a very
special thank you for all the support they have received and to all
those who have had us in their thoughts and prayers at this difficult
time. To the RCMP, Moncton Hospital for being there and helping us
through this process.
Also thanks to Lisa and Casey of the
