Obituary
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Joaquim on Sunday, December 4, 2022, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Bernardes). Cherished father and father-in-law of Sandra (Mario), Tanya (Chris) and, Daniel (Crystal). Cherished grandfather of Victoria, Scotia, Ella, Aaliyah, Vincent, and, Arianna. Dearest brother and brother-in-law of Lucilia (Abilio), Fernando (Cidalia), Emilia and the late Jose, and the late Augusto. Joaquim will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews cousins and friends in Canada and in Portugal. Special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their compassion and care. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, Hamilton on Wednesday, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick Church (Victoria and King) on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery in Hamilton.
