Obituary of Joan Clara Varga
Peacefully, at McGarrell Place, London, on Friday, May 20, 2022, Joan Clara Varga (née Pfeifer) passed away at the age of 87. Predeceased by her beloved husband William Varga (2005). Loving mother of Marie (Craig) Pinsonneault, Paul (late Denise) Varga and the late Cheryl (Craig) Porter. Cherished grandmother of Rachel (Richard) Daniels, Heather (Steve) Bell, Nicole (Jay) Thomas, Pamela (Jay) Fernandes, Paul Varga Jr., Chelsea Porter (Ben Jongeneelen) and Dylan Porter. Special great-grandmother to Nathan and Mackenzie Daniels, Katie, Briana and Hayden Bell, Cole and Zackk Thomas, Clara and Brandon Fernandes, and Anthony Varga. Dear sister of Mona (late Larry) Wilkins, late Bernard (Fran) Pfeifer, Evelyn (Leo) McCaffery, Helen (Larry) Blackburn and Gregory (Dorothy) Pfeifer. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends will be received at DENNING’S OF WEST LORNE, 202 Main Street, West Lorne, on Wednesday, May 25th from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Parish, 128 Main Street, West Lorne, on Thursday, May 26th at 11 a.m.. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the West Elgin Daffodil Auxiliary Cancer would be appreciated by the family.
