It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Joan “Pat” surrounded by her loving family on June 23, 2022 at 70 years of age. Loving wife of Edward with whom she shared 51 years of marriage. Cherished mother of Denise Gervais (Scott) and Victoria Maltese and husband Leo. Adored grandma of Connor (Amanda), Katlyn (Bailey), Jacob, Tyler, Vanessa and Baby Gervais on the way. Dear sister of Gerry (Sandra), Gloria (Mike), the late Theresa, John (Wanda), the late Eugene, Kathy, Pauline (Mike) and Glen (Shelley). Sister- in-law of Kenneth. She will also be missed dearly by her Uncle Gene and Aunt Judy Bisson as well as many nieces and nephews. Pat was a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for 40 years and a longtime member of the Catholic Women’s League. Above all, her unwavering love and devotion to her family will never be forgotten. A special thank you to Dr. Burgess and the staff at Erie Shores Hospice for your care and compassion given to Joan and our entire family. Visiting will take place at the Reid Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 87 Maidstone Ave., Es (519-776-4233) on Monday June 27, 2022 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Visiting will continue on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 1690 County Road 46, Woodslee from 10 am until Mass of the Resurrection at 11 am. Interment to follow at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery. If desired and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Erie Shores Hospice or to the Charity of your Choice .
