Peacefully
with family by her side, the passing of Joan Fraser (Gosbee) Mahar age
89 of Sturgeon, devoted wife of over 60 years to Emile Vincent Mahar
occurred on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at the Kings County Memorial
Hospital. Born in Guernsey Cove, July 18, 1933, daughter of the late
Grafton and Annie (Robertson) Gosbee. Survived by daughter, Donna
(Michael) Myers and by sister, Jackie Creed. Predeceased by siblings,
Elizabeth (Bud) Heron, Margaret (Leighton) Larter, Clara (Ernie)
Brown, Wheaton (Alice) Gosbee, Fred (Florence) Gosbee and Reuben
Gosbee; brother-in-law Spencer Creed.
