It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce Jim’s peaceful passing on May 16, 2022 at the age of 80 with his family by his side.
Loving husband to his second wife Patti Clarke. Cherished father of Joanne Vandereerden (John), Susan Dixon (Dave) and Amanda (Troy). Proud Grandpa and Papa of Kaitlin (Chris), Melissa (Mario), Lauren (Firas), Jimmy (Thomas), Matthew, Stephanie and Arlo. Great-grandpa of 3. Dear brother of Don Clarke (Debbie). Predeceased by his first wife Beverly, his sister Virginia (Peter) Szuch, and his parents Sylvester “Ted” and Marie Clarke. He will also be missed by extended family and friends. Jim loved camping and boating.
Visitation will take place at Families First Funeral Home (3260 Dougall Ave. 519-969-5841) on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May, 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with cremation to follow. Donations in memory of Jim may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
