It is with immense sadness that the family announces a life lost too early, with the passing of Jeffrey Paul Fischer, aged 59, of London, Ontario on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from cancer. Sadly missed and loved by his wife, Lisa Fischer. Forever loved and cherished father to his four daughters Samantha (Joel), Sara (Chris), Allie (Mitchell) and Emma, and treasured grandfather to Evelyn, Rosaleen, Finnian, and Eloise. Loving brother to Mike (Teresa), Lynn (Neill) and Peter (Christine), and adored by numerous nieces and nephews. Jeff was a dedicated and passionate friend to many and an ardent supporter of the people with whom he worked. Jeff will be welcomed in heaven by his father James Norman Fischer, mother Edith Veronica Carey Fischer and mother-in-law Audrey Frances Winn Pooler Ruskin.
Jeff was well-loved by all he met. His passion for life and family was evident in everything he did. We will forever treasure his enthusiasm, dedication, incredible optimism, and fantastic sense of humour which he carried with him until his final days. He will be missed by many.
There will be a small private service for family. A public Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. at the Great Hall, Somerville House – Western University. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Canadian Tire Jumpstart program for youth athletics or the Canadian Mental Health Association.
