Jeffrey Allen Pilant – passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday, August 13, 2022, at age 65. He was a devoted and loving husband and a best friend for 36 years to his wife Sammye. Born in Knoxville, raised in the Alice Bell Community, he attended Holston High School and graduated in 1975 where he formed many lifelong friendships. Jeff was a member of Alice Bell Baptist Church. Jeff owned and operated Allen Plumbing for 20 years with one loyal employee, doing charity work as he was called. Jeff was an avid hunter, and he enjoyed the time he spent with his hunting buddies in Macon County. He mostly enjoyed time at the lake crappie fishing with his wife. Late nights fishing with lanterns or trolling during the day with whomever wanted to go with him were some of his favorite times.
He was preceded in death by parents, Allen and Nancy Pilant.
He is survived by wife, Sammye Armstrong Pilant; brothers, Chuck (Sandy), and Mike (Belinda).
The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 PM on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM.
