Obituary of Jean Williams
It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Williams announce her passing on December 26, 2022, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus at the age of 85.
Born in Bangor, Wales, to the late Alec & Lillie (Lucas) Morris.
Beloved wife of the late Edward Williams (2005).
Cherished mother of Michael Williams, Jeanette (Jim) Charbonneau and David Williams all of Chatham.
Proud grandmother of Ryan Charbonneau (Rachel Richardson), Brooke Charbonneau (Roger VanDusen), Sarah Williams (Sean Pottier) and Jeffrey Williams.
Loving great grandmother to Brooklyn, Owen & Lillian.
Honorary grandmother to Danielle & Lauren Ruttle.
Sister of Marjorie Wells (late Leslie), England, Brian (Doreen) Morris of Chatham, Ron (Glenda) Morris of Windsor and Adrian Morris (Teresa Bourque) of Sarnia. Sister-in-law to the late Tudno (Nora) Williams, Wales.
She was a quiet lady who lived her life for her family. She loved her home and never missed an episode of Coronation Street. She was a whiz at sewing and went on to have a little business reupholstering furniture.
A Celebration of Jean’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the McKinlay Reception Centre, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Reception Centre between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Memorial donations to honour Jean’s life can be made to Chatham-Kent Hospice and would be appreciated by the family.
