We are broken hearted to announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our mother Jeanette Mary Foley, the matriarch of our family on Wednesday January 26th, 2022 at the age of 72.
Predeceased by her husband James, her parents Jack & Gertie Holden, her sister-in-law and friend Geraldine O’Brien, mother-in-law Eileen and lifelong friends Betty Goulding and Frances Galgay.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Jimmy, Jason (Gloria), Jonathan (Stephanie) and daughter Janine. Also, her precious grandchildren whom she adored with all her heart, Samantha (Bradley), Stephen (Erin), Noah and Avery and her great-granddaughter Hannah; brothers: Dave (Jeannette), Wayne (Lorraine), Bobby (Jane), Brian (Gina), Kenny (Kathy) and sisters: Brenda (Bill) Bowman, Jacqueline (Dave) Power, Beverly (Rick) Dicks, Barb (Gary) Gorman, Pamela (Gary) Benson; brother-in-law, Stan O’Brien; niece, Lori; and dear friend, Eileen Murphy; along with a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral mass, by invitation only, will take place from St. Patrick’s church on Monday January 31st at 10:00 am. While we wish everyone wanting to attend could be there with us, the service will be live streamed at tom0349.wixsite.com/streamingservices/cauls. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Galway.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Rainbow Riders or Easter Seals NL.
