After a long and gracious battle at the age of 84 Jean passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. A loving and devoted family woman she is now reunited with her true love of 58yrs her husband the late Al. Cherished mom to Ken(Kim), Judy(David), Doug(late Colleen), and Donna(Alain). Forever loved and adored Grandma to Sean, Brad, Noah, Seth, Jonah, Jessica, Megan, and Mathew.
Dear sister to the late Bill, David(Donna), and the late Heather(John).
Devoting her life to raising her family, she also found time to find joy in sewing and playing bridge. A duplicate bridge player she enjoyed often hosting afternoon bridge groups in her home. Always and often a gracious hostess she ensured she had all your favourites on hand. Her warmth and generosity to so many family and friends she loved and appreciated them all. Her heart creating the true sense of home. She will be deeply missed always and forever.
A small and private service will be held in her memory. In lieu of flowers kindly send donations to the Ian Anderson Hospice in her memory.
Sincere and heartfelt thanks to Dr. Yokom, Dr. Hung, nurse Fawzia and all of the palliative team who carried us through this journey with such kindness and compassion.
