Jean Doris MacKay
March 18, 1935 – September 19, 2022
Jean passed away September 19, 2022 at the age of 87. She was the daughter of Geoffrey & Viola (Hartlen) Nickerson. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 61 years, George D MacKay.
She will be sadly missed by her children Donna (Randy) MacPhee of Truro and David (Debbie) MacKay of Dartmouth; her 3 Granddaughters Erika (Andrew) Hamelin, Shelburne, Ontario, Nikki Pace, Hilden NS, and Kimberlee Milberry, Truro, NS and also by her 3 Great Grandsons, Brayden Milberry and Hunter & Colby Clark. She is also survived by her sister, Marion Orr of Bedford.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service at All Saints Church, Bedford on September 29 th at 2:00pm with Reverend Shirley Carras officiating. A small reception will follow in the church hall.
Private Family burial in St John’s Cemetery, Halifax. Family flowers only.
Donations may be made to the IWK Hospital, if desired.
