1973-2022
Jayson Wesley Luke Smith, 48, of
Irishtown, passed away at The Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday,
January 4, 2022 with his family by his side. Born in Moncton, he was
the only son of Sylvia Smith.
Jayson was a long-time employee with
Purolator working as a Shunt Truck Driver. If Jayson wasn’t
working or sleeping, he was in the garage, working on motorbikes or
old cars. He loved mudding, going to car shows, and spending time with
his friends.
Survived and sadly missed by his mother,
Sylvia; children, Dustyn and Brooke Smith –King and their
mother, Sandra King; daughter, Nikki-Rae Smith and her mother, Sabrina
Edmonds; granddaughter, Ravyn King; as well as many aunts, uncles, and
cousins.
Due to Covid-19, there will be no
services at this time. Family and friends will gather to celebrate
Jayson’s life at a later date. Arrangements in care of The
Salisbury Funeral Home (506-372-4800). Interment will be in Monteagle
Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorials to the IWK, Heart and
Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice would be
appreciated.
