It is with deep regret that we announce the untimely passing
of Janet May Wilmot, 64, on Friday,
January 7, 2022.
Janet was a beloved wife, mother, sister, cousin, nurse, and
friend. She is remembered by her husband Philip; daughter
Shannon (Tom); son Matthew (Kristen); mother Beatrice; and siblings
Connie, Eric, and Dwight; along with countless more family, friends,
colleagues, and patients whose lives she changed.
The love she gave and the lessons she taught will stay with
us always.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones
Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS,
(902-667-8777). A graveside service for family will be held
at a later date in the Leicester Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Janet can be made to the Cumberland
Health Centre Foundation.
