Jane Eliza Henwood
1932-2022
Jane E. Henwood of Forest Dale Nursing Home, Riverside-Albert
(formerly of Riverview) passed away at The Moncton Hospital on
Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Born in Douglastown she was the
daughter of the late Harry and Ada (McLenaghan)
Williston.
Jane worked for the T. Eaton Co. after graduating from
Harkins High in Newcastle, NB before marrying the love of her life,
Clayton Henwood. She was a big part of her
husband’s companies throughout their years together, while
raising their six children. Like her late husband, they
enjoyed many games of crib with family, friends and
customers.
Jane is survived by her children: Karen Jessulet (Mike),
Linda Henwood, Eric Henwood (Jacquline), Susan Parsons, Perry Henwood
(Marie), Lonnie Fawcett (Wayne); nine grandchildren and several great
and great great grandchildren. Her sisters Lillian Murray,
Bertha Shaddick, Lydia Meszaro and Caroline Richards and sisters in
law Muriel Hanson, Lorena Phillips and Marjorie
Keirstead. In addition to her husband Clayton, she
was predeceased by siblings, Shirley Williston and Harry
Williston.
Respecting her wishes cremation has taken place at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview (869-2007). Donations made to SPCA would be
