HAZEN: James Lee “Jim” – passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Jim Hazen of Port Rowan in his 79th year.
Beloved husband of the late Sharon (Morrison) Hazen who predeceased him August 1, 2009. Dear brother of Sharon & Marcel Beausaert of Port Rowan, Jerry & Janice Hazen of Port Rowan, Terry & Cheryl of Tillsonburg, Guy & Thelma Hazen of Long Point, Stew & Barb Hazen of Delhi and Carol & Max Adam of Delhi. Remembered by his brother-in-law Ross Evans & Fran Vuylsteke of Port Rowan. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Benjamin & Ruby (Mudford) Hazen and his sisters Bonnie Hazen, Lynn Hazen and Mary Ann Evans.
Over the years Jim had worked at Verspeeten Cartage, Brownlee Bulldozing and Backhoe and then his love, Farming. He was a member of the Rice Bay Club, the Long Point Lions Club and the Port Rowan Legion.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Jeffery W Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St. Port Rowan on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11:00am. Interment in Knowles Cemetery.
