James Jimmy E Heap 1943 2022

It is with sadness we announce the
passing of James “Jimmy” Ernest
Heap, age 78, of River Hebert. Jimmy passed away at the
Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre on Monday, March 7,
2022.
Born in Amherst, NS, he was a son of the
late John and Mabel (Fowler) Heap.
Jimmy worked for the Department of
Indian Affairs for 31 years until his retirement in 1995. Jimmy
enjoyed driving his Harley and golfing with his
son.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 53
years Patricia of River Hebert; son Jamie of River Hebert; sisters
Millie Howson of Ontario and Cathy Shewfelt of Amherst as well as
nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased
by sister Gena Locke.
The family would like to say a special
thank you to the nursing staff at Cumberland Regional Health Care
Centre for their wonderful care.
Arrangements have been entrusted into
the care and guidance of Jones Family Funeral
Centre, 70 Church Street, Amherst, NS (902-667-8777).
Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at this
time.
Donations in memory of Jimmy may be made
to charity of choice.
