McLellan, James Frederick “Fred” -Passed away peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Sunday, July 10th, 2022, in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn McLellan (nee Tate) (2004). Loving father of Sandra McLellan and the late Ron McLellan (2009). Cherished grandfather of Nicole (Justin) and Kristy (Doug). Proud great-grandfather of 4. Predeceased by his brother George McLellan (2012). A private family graveside service will be held at the Wesley Methodist Cemetery to honour Fred’s life. With a Celebration of Life to follow at the Browns Corners School on July 16th, 2022, at 11:00 AM. A light meal and refreshments will be available, please bring a lawn chair. All are welcome. After serving in WWll, Fred attended the University of Guelph to become a veterinarian. Fred worked for the Federal Government Health of Animals for over 45 years. Fred was the fifth generation to be born and raised in Thamesford. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Thamesford Chapel (519-285-2427).
