Passed away peacefully on December 17, 2022 at Hamilton General Hospital in his 90th year. He was born on June 8, 1933 in Hamilton Ontario. Jim was the loving husband of Renate, much loved father of Lawrence, James M.(Jennifer), Carey Grundy(Steve), and Michelle Molson(Adam). Cherished grandfather of William and Gavin Grundy, Elias and Zoe McKeon Shaw, and Adele, Naomi, and Westley Molson. Dear brother of Sister Patricia, Jack(Rickie) and Jill(the late Des). He is predeceased by his siblings, Bette, Louis(Mary), Fred(Natalie), and Barry(Mary). Many thanks to Dr. Mamoud, Dr. Martin and the wonderful, expert staff of the Hamilton General Hospital, as well as his many friends in golf, tennis, politics, and Leaf supporters. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (Between Mohawk and Fennell) on Tuesday December 20, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann’s Ancaster, 11 Wilson St. W. on Wednesday December 21, 2022 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hamilton out of the Cold.
