Obituary for
Jack Sczembora
The family announces with sorrow the peaceful passing of Jakub “Jack” Sczembora on April 18, 2022.
Jack was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
Jack was born in Bracken, SK, on a poor farm. He started working very young and his travels took him to Inuvik, NWT where he met and married, Josephine Glaubitz (Ladouceur) and his work as a bartender and heavy equipment operator took him to different parts of the Western Provinces. Jack often claimed that he was born with “a cigarette in his mouth, a beer in one hand, and cards in the other.” He loved crib and never did give up his passion for cards.
Rest in peace, we will miss his sense of humour.
Jack’s wish was to be cremated, with no Memorial Service.
