Jack Mosher Sunday March 20th 2022 avis de deces

In loving memory of William John “Jack” Mosher who passed away peacefully at home on March 20, 2022, at the age of 76, after a three year courageous battle with cancer. Jack was born to the late Andrew Mosher and Jean Mosher on January 15, 1946 in Brantford, Ontario but has been a resident of Sudbury, ON for the past 37 years. Jack was a devoted husband and best friend to Charlotte for almost 39 years, and the loving father to D’Arcy Mosher, Paul Mosher (Alison) and Crystal Doherty (Kyle). Jack was blessed with seven grandchildren and will be greatly missed by Megan, Adam, Ben, Addisyn, Audrey, Reese and Ty. He was a treasured brother to Sue Lavoie (Mike, predeceased), Penny Sereda (Eugene, predeceased), and Kelvin Mosher (predeceased). He was a wonderful brother-in-law to the late Sue Crumley (Homer), Shirley Blalock (Grady), Linda Edwards, Phyllis Wade (Robb) and Roger Edwards (Mary). He will be sadly missed by several nieces, including his “rosebud” Denise Pelton (predeceased), nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, many cousins, and his Aunt Connie.
Jack was an avid camper, hunter and fisherman. He had many wonderful times with his hunting buddies in Kingston, ON and fishing with friends and his sons at Canyon Lake. He was a life-long Maple Leafs fan and loved going to the games with his daughter. He was a member of many service clubs over his lifetime and was a long-time member of the AIC Club where he made lifelong friendships. He loved going to the gym at Cambrian College with his friends. He was a long time employee of Hite Services where he continued to work part-time right up until he was not able. He treasured the time spent with his children, grandchildren, friends, in-laws and spouse. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports, dance and celebrated all of their accomplishments and many talents that they all possess. He also enjoyed yearly trips to Cocoa Beach with his wife Charlotte, sister Penny, grandchildren and Shirley and Grady.
Jack was one of a kind. His sense of humour and love for his family and friends would shine through his actions each and every day. We know that he is at peace now and we will keep his legacy alive through cherished memories with all those he loved. We are blessed to have so many wonderful family members, neighbours and friends that have helped us during this battle. Jack was treated so kindly by the staff and especially the nurses at the Sudbury Cancer Centre, Homecare nurses and so many others. A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Homes.
