Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, surrounded by his loving family at the Revera Ridgeview LTC. Jacinto was the beloved husband of Isabel (nee Cabral) for 59 years. Loving father of Manuel (Natalie), Elizabeth Pereira (Humberto) and David (Ana). Cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Matthew), Victoria (James), Elizabeth (Daniel), Jacinto (Sara), Jessica and David. Adoring great grandfather of Avery, Capri, Andre, Julian, Kimberly and Arthur. Devoted son of the late Clemencia and Jacinto Arruda and son in law of the late Hortenencia and Manuel Cabral. Dear brother of Jose, the late Natalia and the late Manuel. Jacinto emigrated to Canada in 1964 and built a successful hardware business where he served his community with strong work ethic and integrity, a business that continues to be operated by his children with the same principals. A special thank you to all the staff of Revera Ridgeview LTC for their kindness, care and compassion. Visitation for Jacinto will be held at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL (43 Barton St. East) on Wednesday December 28, 2022 from 2-5 and 6-8pm. Vigil prayers will offered at 6pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church on Thursday December 29, 2022 at 10am. with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery (Ancaster)
