J. Douglas’ Obituary
CAMPBELL, J. Douglas – age 74, South Ohio, Yarmouth Co., passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at home. Born November 8, 1947 in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late John and Elizabeth Campbell. Doug worked as a carpenter, having worked with EllisDon Construction in Alberta, and in his spare time, he enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his children, Shane (Katherine) Campbell, Dartmouth and Jaye Campbell (Jeff Johnston), London, ON, along with his grandchildren, Nolan and Isaac Campbell, and nephews and niece, Lloyd, Jamie and Jane. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Susan F. (Cook) Campbell; a brother, Kenny Campbell and sisters, Carol Molton and Sally Campbell. In keeping with Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A private graveside service will take place in Lake George Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
