Obituary For Ivy Violanda
February 21, 1975 – August 20,2022
It is with a heavy heart that we bid goodbye to our loving friend, sister, wife, daughter, and mother to her niece, Ivy.
Ivy S. Violanda was born in the Philippines on February 21, 1975, where she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree. Ivy went to Dubai to work for almost 15 years to provide for her family. When the opportunity came knocking at her door, she came to Canada to fulfill her dreams. She worked in A&W, Circle K, and AHS. Aside from those, she did have a lot of part-time jobs.
When she met Bernie Ariola (husband) she became more inspired and in love and they were married in November 2021. Since then, they have worked together to reach for their dreams.
Ivy passed away at the age of 47, while on her way to the hospital due to having difficulty breathing. Her husband and neighbor tried their best to revive her together with the EMS, but sadly she wasn’t able to make it. No words can convey how much she is loved and missed by Family and Friends. We are comforted knowing she is in a better place with the Lord and with her loved ones in heaven. Her love for family and friends will always be a memory to those who knew her.
May our prayers help her family to go through this difficult time and may find a way to heal.
Viewing for Ivy is at Bear Creek Funeral Home and Cremation Sanctuary 11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie on Saturday Aug 27 2022 at 6:00PM-10:00PM. Cremation will take place right after.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at St Mary’s Church in Beaverlodge on Sunday Aug 28 2022 from 6:30 pm onwards. Family and Friends are welcome to gather at the St Mary’s Church basement following the Mass.
