Obituary for
Ivy Blanche Northcotte
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ivy Blanche Northcotte announces her passing at the Hugh Twomey Health Care Center in Botwood on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, age 78 years, of Hermitage.
Ivy leaves to mourn her loving family: sons, Sandy (Juanita) at Edson, AB, Chesley (Betty) at Hermitage, Melvin (Nora) at Harbour Breton, Douglas (Tammy) at Grand Falls-Windsor, Donald (Nina) at Sandyville and Brian (Tracey) at Mount Pearl; daughter, Patricia (Rocky) at Botwood; seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren with one more expectant; brothers, Kent Nash (Lucy) at Hermitage, John Nash (Bessie) at Marystown and Guy Nash (Brenda) at McCallum; sisters, Grace McDonald (Roy) at Hermitage, Sarah Wells at Sandyville and Mildred Goods (Clayton) at Marystown; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her husband, Ambrose; son, Freeman Northcotte; granddaughter, Sidney Northcotte; parents, Annie and Jacob Nash; niece, Glenda Goods; brother in law, Jerry Wells.
Visitation will be held at St. Saviour’s Haven at Hermitage on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 2:00 pm from St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Roy Simms officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage-Sandyville.
